Artistic Attempts
3D Platformer Weapons
These 4 models were created to aid a friend's game concept. The game was a 3D platformer that was targeted toward a younger audience. Each weapon had a specific colour and the sword was made up of all three.
I had a lot of creative freedom with these designs, and due to the target audience, I did my best to take the original ideas (the digital drawings), and make them more childlike and more colourful.
This was my first time modelling and due to there being no time restrictions, I decided to learn by playing around with the software, rather than using tutorials. Blender had similar tools when compared to ProBuilder within Unity, so I found it very user-friendly due to my experience with ProBuilder.
Civilisation Concept
For a worldbuilding pitch, I decided to sculpt a rough concept for one of the civilisations, creating 2 elder faces. These both are unfinished and only created in a couple of days due to time restrictions.
This was my first time sculpting in Blender and in general. I followed a tutorial on how to use each of the sculpting tools, and from there I created 2 rough character concepts.
I really enjoyed creating these quick concepts, and due to my love of makeup, I found it familiar when it came to creating the bone structure.
Alien Face Concept
Whilst having a couple of hours of free time, I decided to create an alien creature that was part of a small concept.
The alien was meant to look different, yet not intimidating. The alien was meant to be a wise and elegant creature.
This was a rough sculpt in order to demonstrate the alien's concept, allowing people to be able to visualise this race.
